The downside to this, however, is that although you may get some wonderful announcing by, say, Vin Scully and Gary Cohen, you could also wind up (when the Braves play the Nationals) with Chip Carey and Ron Dibble. :(Michaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12902817760291329964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8624254435992330014.post-10615543618358324952010-07-22T04:47:04.143-04:002010-07-22T04:47:04.143-04:00I just whole-heartedly believe that McCarver and (...I just whole-heartedly believe that McCarver and (especially) Joe Buck hate the Yankees. every word out of Bucks mouth is a back handed compliment.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8624254435992330014.post-297178408302984322010-07-21T18:28:31.817-04:002010-07-21T18:28:31.817-04:00If I remember right in the 60s NBC used the 2 team...If I remember right in the 60s NBC used the 2 teams announcers in the World Series
as a Matter of Fact in game 5 Nel Allen and Vin Scully worked the Game with Vin Scully working the 9th inning,
So I agree with You Lisa and BPALM
and @ john--Yes he does as does Morgan, Berman and Stuart Scott at ESPNnutballgazettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15953156266049373818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8624254435992330014.post-77086816169868548442010-07-21T17:05:16.782-04:002010-07-21T17:05:16.782-04:00Does McCarver have pictures on someone?? It was done years ago and FOX does implement this from time to time. Usually it is at the end of the season. 2 years ago Howie Rose and Tom McCarthy (Phillies announcer) split PBP and Analysis duties for a Met-Phillie game down the stretch.

It is by far the best way to watch a game problem is I don't know if the idiots at Fox Sports could actually coordinate something so simple.BPALMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04094036520800168286noreply@blogger.com
