Yankee fans and Met fans will duke it out on WFAN and SNY
Here's something of interest to our readers: This Friday, Mets flagship radio station WFAN (660 AM) is joining up with Mets flagship TV station SNY for a Subway Series fanfest.
WFAN is having a competition pitting Mets fans against Yankee fans to win Subway Series tickets. This contest, at the SNY Studio Plaza (6th Ave. at 51st St.) in Manhattan from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, will feature an obstacle course competition.
Can you see Squawker Jon and me doing the obstracle course? I totally could! It would be like the Battle of the Network Stars or something.
In addition, WFAN morning duo Boomer and Carton will have their shows simulcast on SNY, while midday team's Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts show will have a streaming video simulcast of their show at WFAN.com.
Anyhow, you can listen to WFAN for your chance to pre-qualify for this competition. I'm thinking that the Met fans will look good down the stretch in the obstacle course, only to get bogged down just before the finish line!
What do you think? Leave us a comment!

Lisa ..
If you and Jon decide to do the obstacle race...I'll be there !!!
I work a few blocks from SNY ..I might go by anyway ..it should be a hoot to watch. I have tickets to the games on Friday and Sunday. Family BBQ on Saturday but you can bet the TV will be on the deck. We have a few Met fans (2) in the family...the black sheep. We only invite them when we HAVE to..j/k.
I'm hoping the Yankees fair (or is that fare??) a lot better against the Mets than they have against the Bosox. In that vain I hope the Phillies beat the tar out of the Sox.
