A Red Sox fan chronicles the history of Yankee warmup jackets

Since the Yankees are rained out tonight, here's something to squawk about - from a Boston fan, of all people. Paul Francis Sullivan of the "Sully Baseball" blog took an exhaustive look at the history of Yankee warmup jackets. And even though he roots for the wrong team, I have to agree with most of his points, especially that
the blue interlocking NY warmup jacket of the Billy Martin era was the coolest!


Anyhow, it's a fun read, illustrated with photos from each era. Until this piece, I had no idea exactly how much the Yankee uniform had changed over the years. Check out the article here.
