I wrote a piece for the Faster Times about the wit of Pedro Martinez. The pitcher recently declared that if accused of steroid use, he would take off his clothes to prove his innocence! No thanks, dude, I'll take your word for it.

Even though he did pitch for both the Red Sox and the Mets, not to mention that whole throwing Zimmer to the ground thing, I do enjoy hearing Pedro talk. He's both intelligent and amusing. Martinez should have a career in broadcasting one day.
In the meantime, I hope he makes a comeback with the Phillies and beats the Mets!
